Garth
would sometimes put on the most outlandish clothes and then just walk

This
was taken in July, 2000 by Garth's grandmother, Rachel McConnell.
These were all her grandchildren at the time (one more was soon to be
added). When she first showed me this photo after Garth had died,
I immediately noticed how Garth was a member of the group, but apart
from it. |

Tristan before the Homecoming dance in the fall of 2000. Thanks to
Linne and Gary for this photo and their inscription: "This is how
we will remember Garth; tall, handsome and articulate - looking so ready
to take on life." |
